It's really quite silly but this week I figured I waste away about $30 or so dollars by throwing out my receipts. If you have read the blog before then you know we are doing out bathroom and a few other smaller projects around the house as well. Yesterday for example we went out and bough some electrical plates and plugs for the bathroom and downstairs thinking that I needed a double post model. Turns out I didn't and the single post outlet I had at home did the trick. To top it off I couldn't figure out how to hook up the timer for the bathroom exhause fan so I picked up a switch. After hooking the switch up I realized my error but am stuck with a $13 fan timer that I don't want or need. Threw the reciept out a few week ago for it so basically I am out of luck.
Keep you receipts and put them in one place and save them. From this point on I am going to try and save some money and put them all in place. That way if I need them. I know where they are.
