I found this out the hardway a few month back when I bought a faulty tapedeck convertor for my Sirius radio. I run the carkit through my tape deck and the sound is way better than running it through the radio. Anyways, I bought one from Radio Shack that broke. When I brought it back they charged me a "packaging fee". Nice.
Well this Christmas I am besieged by cardboard boxes in my basement. I am holding onto everyone of them until the warrently expires. I took the biggest one and filled it with all of the little ones and pushed it into the back corner. Never again will I pay a fee for "repackaging".
Save yourself some money and don't throw those boxes out until after your warrenty has expired.
