The price of gas in no joke, the ever increasing price of gas is really becoming alarming. So much so that it is affecting those that struggle to make ends meet to those that depend on reasonable prices to make a daily living. There are a number of ways or things that you can do to cut down on your daily or monthly expense on gas.
Obviously there is carpooling. By sharing driving duties with others that you work with or those that work in the vicinity you can cut down on your expenses. Some employers will even offer incentives to car pool. It never hurts to ask.
Keep your eyes on your tires. This really has a big effect on your gas mileage. Having under inflated tires or even poorly aligned tires will waste extra fuel by forcing you’re engine to work harder.
Remove excess weight, the more you have to tow the more gas you are going to use. If you don’t need heavy items in your car, take them out. It will help in the long run.Drive consistently. Making large stops and taking off fast will only waste more gas. It’s a fact that sudden acceleration will guzzle more gas.
