Fab article. I ABSOLUTELY agree!! using credit cards as a means to chalk up points is wonderful. On top of that, if you monitor your billing cycle carefully, you can get more than the 20 days standard interest free period. But yes, as you pointed out, use a credit card only if you have discipline. Otherwise, in the shortest time you would be blown away by an increasing balance.

Debit card if you have trouble managing debt. But I use credit card when I can simply for the benefits offered for the so card. But I always pay off the balance before any fees are applied. Nice post, thanks.

That is a great way to reduce your impact on the environment! I recently wrote a blog about how wasteful gift coverings are, in general. I always hate the expense and waste of wrapping gifts, but I always feel bad presenting a naked gift. I decided that it would be win-win to just call it going green!

Another great idea is to use pages of a magazine instead of wrapping paper. They’re usually bright and colorful and more fun to look at – and saves loads of paper! Go green Christmas!

I too try to filter out the complainers when reading the reviews. So I tend to go with the consensus. If there are 10 reviews that give 5 stars and 1 review giving 2 stars, I’ll read the comments (because they all may have valid points) but will usually be persuaded by the 10 people who were totally satisfied.
