So today I was reading through some freebie sites and came across a forum discussing SwagBucks. It's a site where they offer random points for using their search engine and you can redeem the points for prizes or draw tickets for prizes. Just install their toolbar in your IE of FireFox, user their search engine for your surfing needs and you can gain dollars. The search results are returned by Google and Ask. I just joined today and I already have enough for a $5 Amazon gift card.
So nobody gives anything away for free. I believe that for sure. So what's the catch? There is no catch. They are using a couple of pay per search engines where they are being paid for you searching terms and in turn they are paying it back by giving you random points for goods. If you are going to use a search engine you are probably going to use one of them anyways so why not give it a shot.
Let me know how it is working out. They also post bonus codes that you can redeem for points but I haven't caught on yet. Please let me know if you come across any.
Join up for SwagBucks and start earning points.
This is a part of the blog that I haven't done well with updating so from here on in I am going to try to post a few links to freebies and great coupon offers at least once a week or sometimes more if I find them. If you come across any please let me know.

Free sample of Benefiber Powder from Walmart
Grab some free powder fiber powder from Walmart. That is if you can stand being in a store jam packed with hundreds of bargain hunting shoppers that are more heartless then the starting line up of the 1976 Philadelphia Flyers.
Remember freebie hunters, if you are asked to enter an email address use a free one like gmail as I imagine you are going to get plenty of ads and offers sent your way. I alway have things sent to work so I don't have to use my real address.
Just yesterday my other half was out picking up some groceries and then off to the pharmacy to pick up some creame for acne and to get me some razor blades. She called from the store to see what kind of blades I wanted. After she gave me the prices of some of the items it was actually cheaper for her to get me a new razor/blades combo pack then to buy a razor replacement kit. Crazy. So I started to check some sites tonight and they even have some nice sturdy looking throw aways for men, depending how they last they could be even better. Even better, I found some company sites that will send you some free samples of their products.
The point I am making is that companies will often put specials or promos out there to entice you to use their product from there on in. It's hair on my face, I could care how I get it off as long as it comes off and the cheaper the better. If you are reading this saving money blog and see some deals on things we use everyday let me know.
If you don’t know what an HDMI switch then you are missing out. It’s a gadget that routes high definition video and digital audio from any one of the three sources to display unit. In basic terms this switch will allow you to connect up to four HDMI sources to a single display such as your HDTV. Inputs will allow you to connect up to three of your high definition video sources, such as a satellite, Blu-Ray Disc, and video game consoles to your HDTV. The benefit is you can simply switch between each source without having to move cables on your television. It is great for those of us who enjoy gaming and watching HD movies. There are plenty of great deals available online for a HDMI switch.
At one time it was pretty easy to go out and purchase a digital camera. There were only a handful of brand names and models in production. Today’s market place is different however. There are literally thousands of brand names, styles and models of digital cameras to choose from. And of course all of these are at different prices. It’s important to first ask yourself what you want to achieve with your digital camera. Are you are going to be using it for serious photography or just for amateur or family photos. From there you have to research the different prices available and look for the best deal possible.
